5th Annual Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum Feb. 22-24, 2012 | London, UK
Central Hall Westminster "High Value Projects. High Level Alliance. World Class Expertise" Definition: The Leadership Forum brings high-level business and policy actors together in order to meet with leaders from the international business community, government decision-making entities, and public and private financial institutions. This is a high-intensity set of activities for infrastructure leadersaround the globe. Goals: The overall goals are (a) to double the level of infrastructure investment worldwide, and (b) to optimize that investment, through better project design, selection and project management. Increasing the use of technology in infrastructure is also a key goal. Projects:The Global Forum is a business creation platform, focused on the Top 100 global infrastructure projects. The Forum is structured to ensure that you connect with the right projects and the right partners, and in doing so it maximizes your business creation potential. Participants come from all critical areas of infrastructure (see graph): Project Sponsors; Development Banks; Private Finance; Engineering/Construction Firms; Equipment & Technology Firms; and Service Companies. Structure: The Forum structure is extremely objective, focused on business and expertise network creation, through: - In-depth workshops:
Covering key issues of finance, project structure, geographic and sector areas of opportunity, and the connections between these areas.
- Rapid project presentations:
Sponsors present projects in panels of 4-5, for no more than 10 minutes apiece, creating a rapid flow of ideas and information.
- Pre-Scheduled Private Meetings:
Allow participants to schedule meetings with project sponsors, and Forum sponsors, in a dynamic format. The Private Meeting Scheduler is open now! - Trend keynotes, focused on long-term project opportunities:
focused on long-term industry trends, immediate opportunities, and rich ways of thinking about business development. Keynotes are designed - as our Canadian friends would say - to help people ‘skate to where the puck is going to be!”
"If I made all decisions, your Leadership Forum would be the only event we'd do...I get enough business here to work around the clock!" - Director, Business Development, Tech Firm
