Anderson focuses on infrastructure project creation, aimed at increasing the level of infrastructure investment, and the performance of existing infrastructure stocks, in developed and developing countries alike. He has overseen the development and execution of CG/LA’s proprietary analytic models, including: The Global, Latin American and now US Annual Infrastructure Capacity Rankings; The “Eight Criteria for Assessing a Country’s Infrastructure Capacity,” and CG/LA’s 5 year (through 2015) and 20 year (through 2030) infrastructure demand models. He leads the CG/LA team that develops infrastructure projects globally; and provides high level strategy assessment for the public (cities, states, countries, MDB’s) and private (finance, E&C, equipment/technology) sectors. Among other positions he is a visiting professor in the Politecnico de Madrid, a regular contributor to AmericaEconomia, and the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Sustainable Construction. He is also an Advisory Board Member of The Center for Transformation and Strategic Initiatives (London/Washington).
Mr. Anderson began his career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, serving for a total of five years -- including the last two as a grantee of the Inter-American Foundation. He has a graduate degree from Harvard University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He is married to Ingrid Sckell – they have two children, Norman Gabriel and Janina Victoria. He speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese and Guarani. Presentations

Mr. Hemnani’s work has often been considered ground breaking, as he has forged strategic partnerships and developed innovative methods of project closing in the largest markets of Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela as well as in Turkey and South Africa. Mr. Hemnani has developed a unique track record spanning 13 years in market research, financial analysis and project development across Latin America. He is widely published, and has presented in several international conferences. Mr. Hemnani joined the company in 1995 as a Project Manager, bringing with him a working knowledge of a broad range of Latin American markets. He previously worked in a Brazilian-based international trading company. Mr. Hemnani is a graduate of Babson College (summa cum laude). Ms. Pietravalle also oversees budgeting and logistics for the Leadership Forums, and infrastructure analysis related to specific strategy consulting assignments. Ms. Pietravalle came to CG/LA from Turan Corporation, a Boston-based investment firm that specializes in the trading of sovereign debt. Before working at Turan, she worked as a contract specialist and assistant controller for Kallmann, McKinnell and Wood Architects in Boston. | | | |

As Director of Business Development, Asia, Craig oversees all aspects of the Southeast Asia Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Series, focused on following and surveying the Asia-Pacific infrastructure project markets and developing strategic partnerships with governments, investment, EPC, technology, equipment and service firms. Previously, Mr. Guzinsky was based in Bangkok, Thailand, working for MFC Asset Management developing a regional energy efficiency investment fund. He holds a B.B.A-Finance from the University of Texas-Austin and Masters Degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is fluent in Thai and conversational in Indonesian.
| | | |  | Alex Ginsberg Director, Strategic Projects alex@cg-la.com After graduating from Swarthmore College, Alex spent three years in operations management at McMaster-Carr Supply Company managing customer service departments and most recently, serving as the manager of marketing and sales for NY and NJ. Nearly two years ago, after reading about how many gallons of clean, processed drinking water are lost each year in the US between the treatment plant and the faucet, Alex discovered his passion for infrastructure. Joining CG/LA Infrastructure is his first concrete step into the industry, but before that he published articles on electrical transmission expansion and efficiency in Canada, CSO projects in Washington DC, and smart grid operations companies in Philadelphia.

As Director of Communications, Monica oversees CG/LA Infrastructure's marketing, media and web initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, she was a communications consultant and knowledge management analyst at the World Bank, building communications and brand strategies for various programs at the World Bank Institute and the UN-World Bank Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery. She managed various dissemination outlets for the World Bank - notably the B-SPAN channel - covering a variety of international infrastructure development trends. A native of Mexico, she is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational Arabic, French and Portuguese. She holds B.A. in Political Science and from Northwestern University.

Kevin works with the CG/LA team to orchestrate the signature CG/LA Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Forum, which includes the Global, North America, Latin America and Southeast Asia Strategic Leadership Forums throughout the year. Prior to joining CG/LA, Kevin worked in West Africa (Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana and Senegal), where he focused on developing programs and projects, deploying, troubleshooting and supporting them with a cadre of community-based groups in partnership with local and regional governments. Prior to establishing himself in West Africa, Kevin held two appointments during the Administration of President George W. Bush and served as a Marine. Kevin is a graduate of Lynn University with top honors. | | | |  | Kelly Michaelis Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships kelly@cg-la.com Through her role as Assistant Director of Strategic Partnerships, Ms. Michaelis is involved in sponsorship sales and support for the Leadership Forum Series, as well as client relations and project analysis and expansion. Prior to joining CG/LA, Ms. Michaelis spent 13 months working outside of Managua, Nicaragua, where she designed and oversaw multiple development initiatives, including business management, community health, and elementary and adult education programs. During this time she also helped launch a successful social enterprise that works to connect local artisans with global markets. Most recently, Ms. Michaelis worked in the digital division of Dewey Square Group, where she managed various online campaigns and coordinated efforts between the Los Angeles and Washington, DC offices.
