A CG/LA tem como foco o desenvolvimento de projetos de infra-estrutura. O objetivo é fechar a lacuna existente entre a estimativa da OCDE de US$60 trilhões de demanda global até 2030 e o valor projetado pela CG/LA de US$24-30 trilhões. Para alcançar este objetivo, a CG/LA compromete-se com desenvolviment estratégico, reorganização financeira e iniciativas - com o setor público - para aumentar drasticamente a criação de projetos estratégicos de infra-estrutura.
