The Future of US Infrastructure Project Finance - PPP's, The National Infrastructure Bank & 'Mobility'

This workshop is focused on 3 specific projects: Port of New Orleans, California High Speed Rail, and Dulles Light Rail Access.  The session will be highly interactive, with short presentations of each project, followed by a discussion of financing options.  In addition, participants involved in designing the National Infrastructure Bank will discuss how that entity might catalyze financing for these projects, and other major US infrastructure initiatives.

From tape measures to 3D laser scanners, from transits to GPS  positioning - the last 15 years have place of the most sophisticated technology  within the reach of most infrastructure projects. In recognition of innovations achieved since 1993, Leica Geosystems will host a panel discussion, "Measuring the world's infrastructure" on  Thursday, December 11th -  Open to all attendees at the CG/LA Infrastructure Conference, the event includes prepared remarks by the panelists  followed by question-and-answer session.

Winners & Losers in the Great Energy Paradigm Shift

Discussion forum addressing policy initiatives and new technology that aims to catapult the US to the leading edge of clean energy investments globally.  The US Department of Energy is responsible for a US $2 billion budget to promote energy efficiency and the panelists are experts in both public policy and the technologies enabling policy and export drive.  The workshop will highlight several concrete examples where the US is taking a leadership position in clean energy and outline the prospects for future growth and technology exports.  Three projects presented at the Leadership Forum will act as examples for discussions.
