South American Productivity Leadership Forum"Catalyzing South American Competitiveness" July 23 & 24, 2008 - Washington, DC

The South American Productivity Leadership Forum (SAPLF) hosts the projects that are integrating the continent, boosting continent-wide productivity and offering near-term development opportunities. As a part of the Leadership Forum series, the South American Productivity Leadership Forum is a dynamic combination of project presentations, private meetings and ‘deep dives’ into specific issues and CEO/political leadership presentations.
Integration and crossborder projects from economies both large and small are on the agenda, including rail, highways, airports, ports, power, pipelines, and power. All speakers, including projects presenters and sponsors, are available for scheduled, private meetings – we expect to host more than 2,000 of them during the event.
The South American Productivity Leadership Forum in Washington, DC, will be the first of two events. (The second event will be held in Cartagena, Colombia, December 1 & 2, 2008 with the collaboration of the National Planning Department (DNP), which holds this year's IIRSA Presidency). Both events have independent registration processes, but we will offer discounted packages to all those companies and institutions that wish to attend both fora. For further information about the IIRSA II Forum, please contact Ricardo De Vecchi.
