Dr. Morteza Farajian serves as a Program Manager in the Virginia Office of Public-Private Partnerships (VAP3). In this position, he is responsible for leading in the development and procurement of multi-modal P3 projects, as well as providing input on programmatic guidance documents for the VAP3. He is currently the procurement manager for Transform 66 P3 project.
Morteza has a diverse background in engineering, finance, project management and business development; he has over 10 years of experience working in the public and private sectors both in the US and abroad, including 5 years with the Virginia Office of Public-Private Partnerships.
In 2015, Morteza received his Ph.D. at the Project Management Center for Excellence at the University of Maryland. He holds a Master's degree in Project Management from University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from American University of Sharjah. He also currently serves as a board member on the Transportation Research Board's Revenue and Finance Committee.
