The Global Infrastructure Benefits Index Competition

We have the immense privilege of having a tremendous responsibility heaped upon us, whether ready or not: we need to double our infrastructure investment, swiftly increase the integration of technology in all aspects of the built world, and drive - and measure, and communicate - the delivery of extraordinary benefits to users.
Norman Anderson, Chairman & CEO, CG/LA Infrastructure
Overview of the Benefits Index
The Global Benefits Index is a joint initiative by CG/LA Infrastructure and Dalberg Advisors designed to support global economic recovery by increasing the development velocity and quality of key infrastructure projects.
Infrastructure projects often aren’t delayed because they weren’t bankable, but rather because they did not take into account the perspectives of users or communities. Infrastructure’s role should revolve around these perspectives and user benefits such as mobility, cleaner water, connectivity, hospital capacity, and job creation for economic growth.

Project Benefits
“Benefits” in this instance, refers to the social and economic gains that an infrastructure projects provides a community or region. These benefits include - but are not limited to:
bankability • livability
economic impact • connectivity
mobility • creation of business
health • and accessibility
