2020 North American Strategic Top 100 Report

Though CG/LA has been producing the Strategic Top 100 List for 18 years, this year’s ranking comes from the advanced data analytic algorithms and mathematical rankings that power GViP. This platform allows more in-depth insight into the data behind the world’s most consequential infrastructure projects, and the impact they will have on global economic recovery. 

This year’s rankings include a newly emphasized focus on crucial innovation of projects and countries in which they’re based, driven by the advent of new technologies. These technologies create options not just in terms of how projects are designed, but in terms of everything from construction management to user benefits and to the kinds of projects themselves. The five central criteria used in this year’s list include strategic value, economic value/innovation, local benefit creation, sustainability, and business generation potential. 

“These are transformational projects that are catalysts for social good and economic gains.” said CG/LA Chairman & CEO, Norman Anderson.
